KWARA SPEAKER APPEALS TO IGP TO INVESTIGATE THE DEATH OF ABDULQUADRI  IN POLICE CUSTODY                                                                                                                      23-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                   The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has appeal to the inspector general of police to order investigation into the alleged death of Mr Jimoh Abdulquadri, of Balogun Fulani Quarters while in police custody in Ilorin

In a statement the Chief press secretary to the speaker, Shehu Yusuf say’s the police authority should put an end to such ugly incidents.

The state commiserates with the immediate family of the deceased and the entire youth in the state, urging them to have faith in Allah, the Giver and Taker of lives.

The statement commends the IGP Kayode Egbetokun for his sense of duty and the seriousness attached to the matter.

It urges the IGP not to leave any stone unturned until family of the deceased gets swift justice on the unfortunate incident.

The statement also admonishes the youth to remain law-abiding and allow the police do their investigation.
