JIGAWA STATE COMMENCES IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW MINIMUM WAGE                                                                       24-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  Jigawa state government has commenced payment of the N70,000 new national minimum wage.

This is contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen Dutse by the Jigawa state Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri.

He said already some workers had received bank alerts of their December salary.

Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri called on workers in the state to reciprocate the gesture by dedicating themselves to duty.

The Head of Service also urged workers in the state to continue to support the government in order to maintain the existing cordial working relationship.

It would be recalled that, Governor Umar Namadi announced the approval to pay the new minimum wage beginning from 1st December, 2024.
