NIGERIANS HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED NOT TO DESPAIR IN THE FACE OF THE CURRENT ECONOMIC CHALLENGES                                                                                                         24-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                Nigerians have been encouraged not to despair in the face of the current economic challenges.

The Bishop on the Niger (Anglican Communion), the Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo who stated this in a Christmas message in Onitsha, noted that the current economic difficulties are global phenomenon.

According to the Right Reverend Nwokolo, hardship in Nigeria seems tougher as most families can no longer afford three square meals a day.

He bemoaned the economic plight of Nigerians at Christmas as they are disillusioned up to the point of losing hope in themselves.

The Right Reverend Nwokolo admonished Nigerians not to despair any more, stressing that irrespective of what the population was passing through, all hope was not lost.

The Prelate therefore assured that the birth of Christ has brought hope to mankind as He has come to bring succour to the hopeless and revives the soul.
