PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU SAYS HE HAS NO REGRET REMOVING FUEL SUBSIDY                                                                                    23-12-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 President Bola Tinubu says he has no regret removing fuel subsidy.

He stated this in his first media chat, held in Lagos.

He said the reforms were necessary to make Nigerians benefits from the reaources the country was endowed with.

The President said prior to the removal of fuel subsidy, neighbouring states were those benefitting from what Nigerians should have been enjoying.

On why his administration did not implement the subsidy in phases, the President said doing that would rather prolong the economic loopholes crippling the economy.

Answering questions on insecurity, he said the situation had improved drastically, giving commuters the confidence to travel at will.
