DEFILEMENT: 85 YEAR OLD IBRAHIM HARUNA IS IN CUSTODY OF THE NSCDC NASARAWA STATE COMMAND FOR ALLEGED DEFILEMENT OF A 4 YEAR OLD GIRL 13-01-25

The incident which was said to have occurred in the first week of January this year in Kongo community of Keffi local government council of the state was reported to the Nscdc who immediately swung into action and apprehended the 85 years old suspect.
Briefing newsmen on the arrest, the Nasarawa state Nscdc Public Relations Officer Jerry Victor narrated that the elder sister of the victim raised the alarm when she discovered the little girl was walking with discomfort and blood dripping from her legs.
According to Mr Jerry, the sister sought to know what was wrong with the little girl who then explained her ordeal in the hands of the elderly suspect..
He further alleged that the suspect lured the little girl into his room when there was nobody around which gave him the opportunity to perpetrate the act.
Mr Jerry victor who presented a Medical Report before journalists said a medical Test was conducted and it was confirmed that the little girl had been defiled..
The Nscdc spokesman announced that the case would be handed over to the state ministry of justice after investigation for speedy trial.
In an interview, 85 years old Ibrahim Haruna denied the allegation and said it was a frame up.
Findings revealed that the Parents of the 4 years old victim and the suspected elderly man were neighbors.
In another development, three suspected cult members have been arrested by the Nasarawa state command of Nigeria security and civil Defence Corps for allegedly causing destruction and harrassment of residents of Layin Yan Kaji and Super Cinema street within lafia the state capital..
Nscdc spokesman in the state, Jerry Victor expressed commitment of the Corps to reduce crime and vandalism of public and private infrastructure to the barest minimum across the state.
Items recovered from the suspected cultists includes: two locally made pistol, live cartridges and Ammunitions, phones, pliers and scissors.
In December last year during the yuletide, there was a suspected cult clash between rival gangs that led to destruction of six vehicles and burning of one motorcycle at layin kaji and Super Cinema streets in lafia metropolis.
