FEDERAL MINISTRY OF ART, CULTURE, TOURISM AND CREATIVE ECONOMY EARMARKS CRITICAL PROJECTS TO VITALISE THE INDUSTRY                                                                                                                              03-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  The Minister, Hannatu Musawa, stated this in Abuja after this week’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.

The projects, according to her, are an Abuja Resort Range, Yankari Games Reserve, the Abuja Creator City.

The rest are a 5,000 Cinema Screens, a Creator City at the Wale Shoyinka Center for African Arts, Lagos, Digital Distribution Network, Upgrading the National Gallery and the Expansion of the National Arena Capacity to 100,000.

She said the Ministry would bring a National Museum to Abuja, wondering how the Giant Of Africa is not having a museum in this capital city.

Hannatu Musawa said the Ministry had engaged development partners and stakeholders across the world to assist in developing innovative infrastructure and financing approaches.

She explained that the key objectives of the engagement was to provide the infrastructural foundation needed for the creative and tourism industry to generate about 100 billion dollars, which could increase the GDP and about 2 million jobs.
