PRESIDENT TINUBU SWEARS IN 8 FEDERAL PERMANENT SECRETARIES                                                                                                       03-02-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                      President Bola Tinubu has sworn in eight Federal Permanent Secretaries.

The ceremony took place at the State House in Abuja, just before the commencement of the first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting of the year.

The new Permanent Secretaries are Onwusoro Ihemelandu, from Abia State, Ndiomu Philip, Bayelsa State, Anuma Nlia, Ebonyi, and Ogbodo Nnam, Enugu State.

The rest are Kalba Usman, Gombe, Usman Aminu Kebbi, Oyekunle Nwakuso, Rivers, and Nadungu Gagare Kaduna State.

The President also sworn in 18 Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC.

They are Nkechi Linda Oti, from Abia State, Akpan Effiong, Akwa Ibom, Enefe Ekene, Anambra, Professor Steve Ugba, Benue, Mohammed Usman, Gombe, and Chief Eyo-Nsa Whiley, Cross River.

Others are Aruviere Egharhevwe, Delta, Nduka Awuregu, Ebonyi, Victor Eboigbe, Edo, Wumi Ogunlola, Ekiti, Ozo Obodougo, Enugu, Bello Garba, Zamfara, and Kabir Mashi, Katsina.

The rest are Adamu Fanda, Kano, Dr. Kunle Wright, Lagos, Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir, Nasarawa, Bako Shetima, Niger, Samuel Durojaye, Ogun, Nathaniel Adejutelegan, Ondo, Modu-Aji Juluri, Yobe, and Saad Ibrahim, Plateau.

Mr. Kayode Oladele, representing Ogun State, as a member of the Federal Character Commission, FCC, and Mrs. Olukemi Iyantan, from Ondo State, as a Commissioner for the National Population Commission, NPC, also took the Oath of Office.

At the commencement of FEC meeting, members observed a minute of silence in honour of former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Jeremiah Useni, who passed away on January 23, 2025.
