GOVERNOR. DIKKO RADDA STORMS REPS PLENARY AS THREE MEMBERS DEFECT FROM PDP TO APC IN KATSINA STATE                                                                                                                    08-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                      Governor Umar Dikko Radda of Katsina State was at the House of Representatives Chamber today to witness the defection of three House of Representatives Members from Katsina State who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Defected members are Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, member representing Bakori Danja Federal Constituency, Aliyu Iliyasu Abubakar, Member representing Batasari, Safana and Dan-Musa Federal Constituency and Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, member representing Mashi, Dutsi Federal Constituency of Katsina State.

Reading the letter of their defection during the Plenary, by the Speaker House of Representatives Dr Tajudeen Abbas, the defected lawmakers cited unresolved disputes and crises in the PDP as one of the reasons for their defection.
According to the defected lawmakers, the good work of the current governor of Katsina State Dikko Radda and President Bola Tinubu has encouraged them to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
