PRESIDENT TINUBU SAYS THE ABANDONED ROAD CONNECTING ANAMBRA TO KOGI TO ABUJA WILL RECEIVE NEEDED ATTENTION 08-05-25
By Sadiq Aminu President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says the abandoned federal government road connecting Anambra state to kogi state down to Abuja will receive needed attention.
He stated this in Awka shortly after inaugurating the Solution Fun City constructed by governor Charles Soludo led administration.
The President also promised that Anambra state would be connected with the master plan of the Railway lines which were bypassed initially noting that it would receive attention.
President Tinubu noted that when the projects were completed, it would aid transportation and ease every means of doing business in the zone.
While commending the governor for the construction of the Fun City and Awka Country Club, President Tinubu said the Federal government would do all it could to assist the state in tackling the numerous ecological issues Confronting the state.
Speaking further, President Tinubu who remarked that the state and the South East Zone had huge deposite of natural gas which had been bypassed by the National Gas Master plan, gave an assurance that it would be rectified.
In a remark, a business Mogul, Chief Emeka Offor thanked the president for the consideration of the establishment of South East Development Commission which was expected to drive Development and growth in the area.
Earlier in his remark , Governor Chukwuma Soludo said the Solution Fun City was a project that was well thoughtout and planned for the overall benefit of the people.
In an interview, some residents who were on ground to welcome the President, described the Fun City as a one stop destination for Entertainment and leisure.
One of them, Mr Raphael Azodo who was visibly excited described the Fun City as a massive project that really deserved Mr President to inaugurate by himself.
Another resident, Mrs Grace Omenyi while commending Governor Soludo for the initiative, said people had been looking out for such a place over the years in the State and could not wait to enjoy the excitement that the Fun City promised to offer.
Also another respondent, Mr Chidi Nwakpadolu who is one of the officials at the Fun City said the governor really considered a lot of things before siting the gigantic project including power Supply.
According to him, there is lounge, Ballen Alley, and three room cinema all situated in the Family Fun Building, one of the structures situated in the Fun City environment.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Leisure and Entertainment, Mr Bob Manuel Udokwu who was also on ground waiting for the arrival of President Tinubu said the people of the state would have no more excuse to take their families elsewhere as the Solution Fun City and the Country Club became the destination point for entertainment and relaxation in the state.
