NELFUND COMMENCES THE DISBURSEMENT OF APRIL 2025 UPKEEP ALLOWANCE TO ELIGIBLE STUDENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY                                                                                            19-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          The Nigerian Education Loan Fund, (NELFUND) has commenced the disbursement of April 2025 upkeep allowance to eligible students across the country.

A statement by its Director, Strategic Communications, Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi explains that while payments have been successfully processed, some of the beneficiaries may experience a delay due to the recent upgrade on payment and application processing system.

It says the system upgrade is expected to enhance security and support the timely disbursement of upkeep allowances in subsequent payment cycles.

According to the statement, NELFUND is working closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve these issues promptly and ensure that all eligible students receive their entitlements without further delay.

It states that the Agency remains committed to transparency, operational excellence, and the timely delivery of student support in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
