NSCDC DEPLOYS 725 PERSONNEL TO ENSURE SECURITY DURING EID-EL-KABIR CELEBRATION IN ZAMFARA STATE                                                                                                                          05-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 725 personnel across the state to safeguard lives and property during the upcoming Eid-el-Adha celebration.

In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Umar Mohammed Maradun, the State Commandant, CC Sani Mustapha, said the personnel have been strategically deployed to Eid prayer grounds and other critical locations in all 14 local government areas of the state.

He noted that the deployment covers the pre-Eid, Eid day, and post-Eid periods, with a focus on maintaining peace, order, and public safety throughout the festive season.

Commandant Mustapha commended the dedication and professionalism of NSCDC operatives in Zamfara, assuring residents of their continued commitment to effective security service delivery.

He further reiterated that under the leadership of the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, the NSCDC remains steadfast in its mission to combat insecurity nationwide, adding that the Zamfara Command will not relent in its efforts to protect the state.
