NIMET WARNS NIGERIANS TO STAY WARM AS COLD WEATHER SETS IN………….

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has alerted Nigerians to prepare for colder days and reduced sunlight as the annual August Break approaches.

Speaking to Radio Nigeria, NiMet’s Deputy GM, Wasiu Ibrahim, described the current weather as “strange but normal,” noting it’s typical for this period to be cloudy, dry, and cold—especially at night.

He advised Nigerians, especially children and the elderly, to stay warm, eat hot meals, and wear proper clothing to avoid flu and cough.

NiMet also urged the public to follow their platforms for regular weather updates.
