ONDO GOVERNMENT TO REVIVE FARM SETTLEMENTS, BOOST AGRICULTURE……..

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Ondo State Government is set to revive old farm settlements and partner with key agricultural agencies to improve food production and attract youth to farming.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa shared this plan while meeting with officials from the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) in Akure.

He said the state’s fertile land will be used more effectively through collaborations that support productivity and rural development.

NALDA’s State Coordinator, Chief Olusola Ayandokun, added that the agency will assist with land clearing and support farming ventures like poultry, piggery, and fish farming. Tractors and other equipment will also be provided to boost operations.
