NDLEA SEIZES 8,000 BOTTLES OF AKUSKURA, 48 BLOCKS OF CANNABIS IN KANO

NDLEA operatives in Kano have intercepted 8,000 bottles of Akuskura, a drug-laced herbal mixture, and 48 blocks of cannabis. The substances were hidden inside a trailer loaded with tricycles along Zaria-Kano Road.
A 37-year-old suspect, Ali Muhammad, was arrested. NDLEA says investigations and lab tests are ongoing to confirm the drugs’ composition.
The Kano Commander praised his team’s efforts, while the agency urged the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities.
