CHRISTIANS JOIN MUSLIMS IN KADUNA MA’ULUD CELEBRATION FOR PEACE AND UNITY

In a rare show of interfaith harmony, Pastor Yohanna Buru, leader of Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, joined thousands of Muslims at Murtala Mohammed Square, Kaduna, to mark the Maulud, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Pastor Buru congratulated Islamic leaders, including the Sultan of Sokoto, and stressed the importance of unity, noting that Muslims also join his church during Christmas to celebrate Jesus Christ’s birth.
Sheikh Iliyasu Husaine of JNI praised Buru’s efforts in promoting peace and recalled sharing Christmas with him in the past.
The Maulud featured prayers, Qur’an recitations, and parades, all calling for love, forgiveness, and lasting peace in Nigeria.
