POLICE NAB SUSPECTS FOR ₦1M FRAUD IN KANO

The Kano State Police Command has arrested three men accused of duping a victim of over ₦1m. The suspects were caught at Kofar Danagundi after the victim raised an alarm, prompting residents and security operatives to give chase.

Police spokesman SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said investigations are ongoing, and the suspects will be charged to court. One of them, Aliyu Yusuf, 45, confessed to the crime.

The victim narrated how he was lured with false promises before realizing he had been tricked.

SP Kiyawa urged Kano residents to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities, assuring that the police remain committed to tackling fraud and protecting lives and property.
