NIPOST INTERCEPTS CANNABIS SHIPMENT FROM THAILAND

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has intercepted a consignment of cannabis hidden inside a duvet cover from Thailand.

According to its Director of Corporate Communications, Mallam Ibrahim Musa, details of those involved are being withheld as investigations continue with security agencies.

NIPOST says the move reflects its commitment to keeping the postal system free from illegal activities, in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
