JAMB SCREENS 176 EXCEPTIONAL UNDERAGE CANDIDATES

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has screened 176 outstanding underage candidates who scored high in the 2025 UTME.

The exercise, held in Abuja, Lagos, and Owerri, assessed candidates below 16 years through written tests and interviews.

Officials praised JAMB for promoting young academic talent, noting that only 176 of over 41,000 applicants met the final criteria.
