KEBBI ELDERS FORUM FLAGS OFF FIRST ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT

The Kebbi Elders Consultative Forum, in partnership with the Kebbi State Government, has launched the First Kebbi Economic Development Summit at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi.
Governor Nasir Idris declared the two-day event open, noting that it aims to strengthen Kebbi’s economic resilience, create jobs, and promote sustainable resource management. He emphasized that discussions will focus on transforming key sectors such as agriculture, mining, human capital, and the informal economy to drive inclusive growth and innovation.
Chairman of the Forum, Major General Mohammed Magoro (Rtd), said the summit seeks to foster sustainable growth, innovation, and investment, while developing a roadmap for long-term economic transformation anchored on peace and stability.
