SHETTIMA CALLS ON INVESTORS TO EXPLORE BAUCHI’S GROWING POTENTIAL

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged local and foreign investors to seize the vast business opportunities emerging in Bauchi State to boost sustainable growth.

Speaking at the Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Shettima assured investors of Nigeria’s stable and profitable business climate, driven by reforms that promote ease of doing business.

He praised Governor Bala Mohammed for hosting the summit, describing it as a step toward inclusive and diversified development.

Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and investor protection, noting partnerships with Chinese firms in agriculture, manufacturing, and infrastructure. He said Bauchi’s abundant resources, vibrant youth population, and improving infrastructure make it a key investment destination in Northern Nigeria.

Representatives of the business community and foreign partners, including the Tunisian Ambassador to Nigeria, lauded the initiative and expressed readiness to collaborate with the state.
