The Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Faruk Ahmed Umar, has received two national awards for his exceptional leadership and reforms in the public sector.

He was honoured with the Renewed Hope Champion Award for Public Sector Performance by the Tinubu-Shettima Support Organisation (TSSO) and the Outstanding Leadership in Public Sector Reform Award by the Arewa Youth Assembly (AYA).

Both organisations praised Umar for modernising Nigeria’s aviation sector and advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In his response, Umar thanked the groups for the recognition and reaffirmed NAMA’s commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in the aviation industry.
