PDP NAMES SEN. BEN OBI AS SECRETARY FOR 2025 CONVENTION

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Senator Ben Obi as Secretary of its 2025 Elective National Convention Organizing Committee.
His appointment follows the defection of former secretary, Governor Peter Mba of Enugu State, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, PDP spokesperson Debo Ologunagba said the party’s leadership commended the committee led by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State for its commitment to ensuring a successful convention scheduled for next month in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The NWC urged members and stakeholders to remain united and focused on the progress of the party.
