GOV ABDULRAZAQ RECEIVES 23 FREED ABDUCTEES, WARNS KIDNAPPERS HAVE NO PLACE IN KWARA

Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has welcomed twenty-three rescued abductees, reaffirming that kidnappers and criminals have no refuge in the state.
Speaking at the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi Barracks, Ilorin, the Governor praised President Bola Tinubu and security agencies for their swift and decisive actions. He assured the victims of full government support and pledged stronger collaboration with security forces to maintain peace.
AbdulRazaq revealed plans to deploy forest guards to secure vulnerable areas once the Army concludes its operations, commending the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Nicholas Rume, for restoring calm across the state.
General Rume thanked the state government for its backing, vowing continued efforts to eliminate criminal activities.
One of the freed victims, Pastor Obafemi, described the ordeal as harrowing and expressed deep gratitude to the Governor and security forces for their rescue.
