PDP INSISTS NATIONAL CONVENTION HOLDS THIS WEEKEND

By: Safita Abdulrahim Dabban

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reaffirmed that its 2025 National Convention will take place as scheduled from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, the party dismissed rumours of postponement, describing them as false claims spread by elements allegedly linked to the ruling APC.

Ologunagba said the PDP remains committed to holding a peaceful and successful convention, vowing to resist any attempt to destabilize the opposition or impose a one-party system. He also thanked supporters nationwide for their continued trust and confirmed that delegates and party officials are already arriving in Ibadan for the event.
