BANDITS KIDNAP 25 STUDENTS IN KEBBI

Police in Kebbi State have confirmed that 25 students of Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, were abducted after armed bandits attacked the school in the early hours of the day.

Police spokesperson CSP Nafiu Abubakar said the attackers, armed with sophisticated weapons, invaded the school, exchanged gunfire with security personnel, and escaped with the students after scaling the fence.

The school’s Vice Principal, Malam Hassan Makuku, was killed during the attack, while another staff member, Ali Shehu, sustained injuries.

Security forces, including police, military and vigilantes, are currently searching surrounding routes and forests to rescue the students and apprehend the attacker
