ICPC REAFFIRMS TRANSPARENCY IN 2025 ASSET DISPOSAL

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The ICPC has restated its commitment to transparency and integrity in the 2025 Asset Disposal Exercise. Speaking at the bid opening ceremony in Abuja, Chairman Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, represented by Mr. Olusegun Adigun, said the process will be guided by fairness, merit, and accountability.

He reaffirmed that all recovered assets will be properly managed and directed toward national development. The Commission assured auctioneers that every submission will be assessed without bias.

Mrs. Grace Aga-Ibe of POCD echoed the pledge of integrity, while CeFTPI’s Executive Director, Umar Yakubu, praised the ICPC for a credible process aligned with UNCAC standards. Auctioneers also commended the Commission’s openness, noting that only qualified participants will move to the next stage. Representatives of the BPP and NUJ were present.
