KIDNAPPED KEBBI STUDENTS REGAIN FREEDOM

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The kidnapped students of Maga in Zamfara State have regained their freedom. Police Commissioner Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba confirmed their release in Gusau, describing the development as a major relief for the state and affected families.

The students were freed through non-kinetic efforts coordinated by the Office of the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, working closely with security agencies and local stakeholders to secure their safe return without confrontation.

Authorities say the rescued students are now receiving care and undergoing routine checks, while security operations continue to prevent further incidents.
