NAMADI PROPOSES ₦901BN JIGAWA 2026 BUDGET

Governor Umar Namadi has presented a ₦901bn appropriation bill for 2026 to the Jigawa State House of Assembly. The budget, tagged “Budget of Innovation & Transformation for Greater Jigawa II,” prioritizes capital projects, education, health, roads, power, agriculture, and youth empowerment.
The proposal is 19% higher than the 2025 budget and includes allocations for local government services across the 27 councils.
