IBIDA SAYS SOLUDO’S 2026 BUDGET WILL LIFT ANAMBRA’S DEVELOPMENT

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

Former Anambra lawmaker Dr. Pete Ibida says Governor Charles Soludo’s 2026 budget will further elevate the state’s development trajectory. Speaking in Awka, he praised the heavy capital allocation as proof of Soludo’s transformative agenda.

Ibida noted that last year’s budget had already boosted socio-economic growth, citing new hospitals with free maternal care, expanded road and infrastructure projects across remote communities, and major investments in education that removed school fees for primary and secondary students.

He described Soludo’s performance as the reason for his recent landslide victory and urged residents to support the 2026 budget to sustain progress.
