NIGERIA SET FOR FIRST INTERNATIONAL AIR SHOW

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Federal Government says it is fully ready to host Nigeria’s first-ever international air show, positioning the country to showcase its aviation strength and attract global investment. Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, after inspecting preparations, confirmed that agencies and partners are set for the three-day event beginning next week.

He said the show will feature exciting aerial displays by the Nigerian Air Force, similar to world-class events in the UK, France, and the UAE. Keyamo added that temporary airspace restrictions will be enforced only during display periods to ensure safety.

Director of the Nigeria International Air Show, Brian Williams, noted strong interest from both local and international airlines, manufacturers, and service providers, describing the event as a major chance for networking and new business opportunities.
