PDP ISSUES EXPULSION CERTIFICATES TO WIKE, ANYANWU, FAYOSE, OTHERS

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The PDP has formally issued expulsion certificates to Nyesom Wike, Samuel Anyanwu, Ayo Fayose and eight others, confirming their removal after the party’s Ibadan convention.

National Chairman Dr. Tanimu Turaki said the certificates validate their expulsion and also urged the Federal Government to address rising insecurity nationwide.

He added that the party has not received any formal notice confirming Governor Ademola Adeleke’s alleged defection.

PDP leaders pledged to strengthen the party and return it “to Nigerians.”
