By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has launched the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) economic empowerment programme for persons with disabilities in Abia, offering ₦200,000 business grants to 250 beneficiaries per state.

Represented by Mrs. Priscilla Otti, she said the initiative has delivered ₦50 million per state, supporting 9,500 PWDs nationwide, and aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda to ensure inclusive growth.

The First Lady noted that RHI has reached over 100,000 women and PWDs through interventions in business, agriculture, health, and education. Beneficiaries were urged to use the grants to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
