ARMY SAYS BANDITRY WILL BE FULLY ERADICATED

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Theatre Commander of Operation Fesan Yamma, Maj. Gen. Idris Warrah, says the Nigerian Army is deploying stronger strategies to wipe out banditry, including rising Lakurawa activities, across the North West.

Speaking in Sokoto while addressing troops, he assured that the Army is boosting its operational capacity and leaving no room for bandits to thrive. He added that professionalism and discipline will drive the mission toward ending the threat completely.

Gen. Warrah, alongside the GOC 8 Division, Maj. Gen. Ibikunle Ajose, also inspected military facilities in Illela.
