GOVERNOR DAUDA LAWAL RECEIVES NATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has been honoured with the NEAPS 2025 Governance and Security Reform Award, presented on behalf of President Bola Tinubu by SGF George Akume at the State House, Abuja.
According to his spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the award recognizes the governor’s reforms in civil service welfare, education, health, urban renewal, and security. NEAPS noted his clearance of a 13-year gratuity backlog, increase of workers’ minimum wage, and support for security operations across the state.
President Tinubu commended Governor Lawal, saying the award should inspire him to continue rebuilding Zamfara.
