By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Federal Road Safety Corps has impounded over 150 vehicles, including trucks, along the Kaduna, Zaria, Kano highway for various traffic violations. Offending drivers were immediately prosecuted by a mobile court.

FRSC Corps Marshal, Mallam Shehu Mohammed, said the action is part of a nationwide crackdown during the Yuletide to curb reckless driving, overloading, speeding, and drunk driving. He added that personnel have been deployed to major highways to improve traffic control and ensure safe movement for responsible road users.
