SECURITY FORCES RESCUE KIDNAPPED VICTIMS, NEUTRALIZE BANDITS IN GOMBE

Security forces in Gombe State have rescued three kidnapped victims and neutralized three suspected bandits in a major operation in Pindiga District, Akko LGA. The joint operation, involving police, hunters, and vigilante groups, also recovered weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles used by the criminals.
DSP Buhari Abdullahi described the mission as a significant success in the fight against banditry, while the rescued victims are now receiving medical attention and support. The police confirmed that efforts continue to track down fleeing suspects.
State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Ahmed, assured residents of the command’s commitment to protecting lives and urged the public to provide timely information to aid security efforts.
