TINUBU APPROVES 50,000 ADDITIONAL NYSC MOBILISATION FOR 2026

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the mobilisation of 50,000 additional graduates for the 2026 National Youth Service Corps programme.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Olakunle Nafiu, said the decision aims to reduce delays faced by graduates awaiting national service and expand opportunities for eligible participants.
With the new approval, the scheme plans to mobilise about 418,000 corps members in 2026 as part of efforts to strengthen youth participation and national service.
