NEW EDUCATION BOSSES APPOINTED, LIBRARY DG GETS SECOND TERM

President Bola Tinubu has approved fresh appointments across major education agencies, naming new chairmen for NECO and NBTE, appointing a polytechnic rector, and extending the tenure of the National Library boss.

Prof. Modupe Adelabu now heads NECO’s governing board, while Prof. Babatunde Salako takes charge at NBTE. In the polytechnic system, Dr. Bongfa Binfa has been appointed Rector of Federal Polytechnic, N’yak-Shendam.

Tinubu also renewed the tenure of National Library Director-General, Prof. Chinwe Anunobi, for a final five-year term, signaling continuity in ongoing reforms and projects.
