15 DIE IN LONE TRAILER CRASH IN KWARA

No fewer than 15 people have died in a lone trailer crash along the Ogbomoso–Oko Olowo route on the Ilorin-Jebba Expressway in Kwara State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the crash, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, involved 48 male occupants. Seventeen others sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The FRSC attributed the accident to driver fatigue and said rescue operations were ongoing, while motorists were urged to avoid night travel and unsafe loading.
