The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has donated a total of ₦6 million and assorted food items to two bereaved families in Zamfara State.

The donations were made to the family of Sanusi Lilo, who died in a road accident along the Kaduna-Zaria road, and the family of Aminu Matawallen Yandoto, who lost his wife, Hajiya Zainab.

Matawalle’s representatives, led by the Chairman of the Matawalle Political Standing Committee, Ibrahim Isa Mayana, presented the donations during separate condolence visits to the families.

According to a statement by the committee’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the minister urged the families to find strength in their faith and prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased and grant their loved ones the strength to bear the loss.

The families thanked the minister for the gesture and prayed for his continued success.
