The Director-General of the Makinde-Daura Campaign Organisation, Felix Hassan Hyat, has inaugurated state coordinators for the North-Central zone as part of efforts to strengthen the campaign ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Hyat, during the inauguration, urged the coordinators to intensify grassroots mobilisation and take the campaign’s message to communities across the region.
He said the campaign’s success would depend on effective organisation at the polling-unit level, stressing the need for coordinators, party members and campaign managers to work together.
Hyat also called for unity within the party, urging members to promote the presidential candidacy of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
Responding on behalf of the coordinators, the Kogi State Director, Usman Danladi Ibrahim, pledged their commitment to the campaign and said they were prepared to mobilise support across the region.
Ibrahim, however, stressed the need for adequate logistical support to enable the coordinators to reach communities and carry out their assignments effectively.
