EMIR SANUSI EXPRESSES DISMAY OVER VANDALIZATION OF KANO STATE PRINTING PRESS, OTHERS                                                                                                                          07-08-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Emir of Kano Malam Mohammad Sanusi has express his dismay and unhappiness over the vandalization Kano Printing Press, and other infrastructures during the Nationwide Protest.

The Emir disclosed this when he visited the Kano Printing Press, and other facilities to inspect the damage and vandalization on the facility.

He said the vandalization of Kano Printing Press was undemocratic and primitive, saying it was a set back to the state, especially with regards to its history.

Emir Mohammad Sanusi noted that those behind the vandalization of the Kano Printing Press where enemies of progress.

“From information available to me, security agencies have been alerted few days to the commencement of the Nationwide protest that this facility might be attacked, yet the security refused to take prompt measures to ensure the security of this facility ”

While at Audio Bako Secretariat where the NCC Digital Industrial Park was Vandalized weeks to inauguration, the Emir said the act was unbelievable.

Emir Mohammad Sanusi who went round the vandalized facility said the destruction was aimed at destroying the image of Kano, adding those behind it would not succeed.

Mohammad Tajo Othman Commissioner of Science and Technology Kano said the federal government has vowed to with immediate effect rehabilitate the facility as directed by president Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
