PENGASSAN CONFIRMS THAT THE PORT HARCOURT REFINERY IS WORKING                                                                                         04-12-24

             By Sadiq Aminu                                                             The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN has confirmed that the Port harcourt refinery is working.

But noted that it would not influence the downward review of the pump price of Petroleum.

National President , PENGASSAN Comrade Osifo made this known in abuja at the National Executive Council Meeting of the Body.

Comrade Festus Osifo said ongoing refining of Premium Motor, Automotive Gas Oil, also known as Diesel were being blended at the in port harcourt refinery.

The PENGASSAN President however attributed the failure of the drop in price of Petroleum pump price to the week exchange rate of the Naira as against the dollar.

Comrade Osifo revealed that the refinery was originally designed to produce Diesel and assured that the Body will sustain calls for the resuscitation of the Kaduna and Warri refineries.
