KANO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS SEVEN COMMISSIONERS-DESIGNATE 17-12-24
By Sadiq Aminu The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed seven nominees transmitted by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The confirmation came after a rigorous three-and-a-half-hour screening process, which ended in a unanimous acceptance of the nominees as commissioners-designate.
According to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, the confirmation followed the resolution of the lawmakers at the committee of the whole.
Initially, six nominees were presented for screening, but Nura Iro Ma’aji was added to the list.
The confirmed commissioners-designate include former Chief of Staff Shehu Wada Sagaji, who was relieved of his duty last Thursday.
Other confirmed commissioners-designate are:
– Abdulkadir Abdulsalam
– Gaddafi Sani Shehu
– Ibrahim Wayya
– Dr. Dahiru Hashim Muhammad
– Dr. Ismail Aliyu Dannaraya
