PDP BOT SETS UP RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE, BACKS DAMAGUM-LED NWC

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has formed a reconciliation committee to resolve internal disputes among party members.

BoT Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, announced this after an emergency meeting in Abuja, stressing the need for unity as the party prepares for its elective national convention.

He reaffirmed the BoT’s full support for the Ambassador Umar Damagum-led National Working Committee (NWC), describing the PDP as “a united, formidable, and focused party.”

Wabara also commended the Oyo High Court’s ruling allowing the PDP to proceed with its national convention slated for November 15–16, 2025, in Ibadan.
