YPP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN CALLS FOR MASSIVE MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The National Chairman of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Emmanuel Amakiri, has urged state executives to intensify membership mobilisation, noting that bringing in more young people with fresh ideas will strengthen the party and deepen its role in national development.

At the NEC meeting in Abuja, the party filled vacant leadership positions and confirmed the expulsion of Rep. Ifeanyi Uzokwe over verified anti-party activities. The NEC also praised President Tinubu for appointing Gen. Christopher Musa as Defence Minister and cautioned against any move toward a one-party state, stressing the need for a vibrant multiparty democracy.
