TRUMP SAYS IRAN QUIETLY SEEKS DEAL DESPITE PUBLIC DENIALS

US President Donald Trump said Iran is secretly engaging in negotiations and wants a deal but is unwilling to admit it publicly out of fear of internal consequences.
His comments followed a statement by Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who said Tehran has no intention of negotiating.
The White House maintains that talks are ongoing and productive, while warning that the United States is prepared to intensify its response if Iran fails to shift its position.
Tensions remain high as military activity increases in the Gulf, with uncertainty surrounding the direction of both diplomacy and the ongoing conflict.
