2027: EKITI ADC REPS CANDIDATE UNVEILS CAMPAIGN TEAM

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I, Emmanuel Fayose, has unveiled a 25-member campaign committee ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, appointed businessman Isaac Fayose as Director-General of the campaign, while former Deputy Governor Prof. Olusola Kolapo will serve as patron.

Speaking in Ado Ekiti, Fayose said his decision to contest the seat, covering Ado and Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Areas, was driven by his desire to provide practical, accountable and people-focused representation.

He said his campaign would focus on effective advocacy, legislative oversight, attracting development resources and giving citizens a stronger voice in governance.

Fayose maintained that genuine representation should be based on competence, service and understanding of the people’s needs rather than wealth, inheritance or political bargaining.

He urged residents and stakeholders to support his ambition, promising to work towards attracting meaningful development to the constituency and contributing to the progress of Ekiti State and Nigeria.

The campaign team includes Chief Dipo Anisulowo as adviser, Femi Fadahunsi as secretary, Tope Apanisile as team leader and chairman of Inter-Party Affairs, Richard Olaolorun as chairman of Media and Publicity, Peter Akinleye as chairman of Youth Affairs and Mrs Anike Ologuntoye as chairperson of Women Affairs, among others.

Fayose is campaigning under the slogan, “Support the Future, Support Otunba Emmanuel Fayose for Better Representation”
