CLERIC URGES NIGERIANS TO AVOID NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban
An Islamic cleric in Nasarawa State, Ustaz Safiyanu Otaki, has urged Nigerians to avoid negative thoughts and unnecessary suspicion towards one another.
Otaki made the call during a Juma’at sermon in Lafia, the state capital, citing the Holy Quran and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He warned that harbouring negative thoughts can breed hatred, create family conflicts and weaken unity in society. He therefore encouraged Muslims and Nigerians at large to embrace positive thinking and peaceful coexistence for societal progress.
