ZULUM PRESENTS 50 PATROL VEHICLES TO MILITARY, CJTF……………

The Borno state Governor, Babagana Zulum,  has presented fifty patrol vehicles and three hundred motorcycles to the military and volunteers from the ‘Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and hunters involved in counter insurgency operations in the state

The brief event which took place at the multi-purpose hall of the Government House in Maiduguri was aimed at enhancing surveillance for preventive and responsive operations against insurgents and other criminal activities.

Making a symbolic presentation to the Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Gold Chibuisi, Governor Zulum said the military will get thirty Hilux vehicles and one hundred and seventy five motorcycles.

He added that Civilian Joint TaskForce (CJTF) and hunters will receive twenty Hilux and seventy five motorcycles while Agro Rangers Squad of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp will also get ten motorcycles.

“This is the first phase of the distribution of vehicles to security agencies in our second term, which the military and the volunteers will benefit from today’s distribution” Zulum said.

According to the Governor, the Nigeria Police and other security agencies will receive similar support in subsequent phases.
